Some kitchens need a kettle that commands the stove. The Emerald Check 3-Quart Tea Kettle does exactly that — three quarts of capacity in deep, saturated green that fills a kitchen with presence rather than quietly sitting on a burner. The larger body lets the color-dragged checks build across more surface area, and the extra quart means fewer trips back to refill during a long morning or when guests are around.

Hand-painted emerald checks across a range of green hues on heavy-gauge hand-glazed steel. The brass accents and glass knob finial complement the richness of the color. Better heat retention than the 2-quart between pours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the 3-quart Emerald Check work on induction?
No — compatible with gas, electric, and ceramic stovetops only. Never boil dry.

Is 3 quarts too large for one person?
For solo daily use, the 2-quart is more practical. The 3-quart is ideal for two or more people, frequent entertaining, or anyone making multiple hot drinks in a morning.

How does the 3-quart differ from the Whistling Kettle?
The Whistling Kettle holds 2 quarts in a wider body (5.5" base) with a whistling spout. The 3-quart has a taller, narrower body with no whistle and more capacity.

Is MacKenzie-Childs enamelware food safe?
Yes — MacKenzie-Childs enamelware exceeds both federal food safety regulations and California's Proposition 65 standards. Discontinue use for food service if the enamel becomes chipped, cracked, or broken.
